In this paper:

Summer season, graduation season. In China, not only Chinese students, many foreign students also face the end of the student era and the beginning of a new life. Some of them are ready to pack up and say goodbye to China. Some have found work and started a new life, while others have returned home after returning home. "I report" invited several foreign students to tell their stories about their study abroad and their graduation mood.
Ruan: maybe I'll come back.
(26 years old, female, Vietnamese, Beijing language and culture university, master of pedagogy, graduated in 2014. This paper is based on the oral arrangement of ruan qiuhe.
I feel like I really have to go after the graduation ceremony on 26th.
Recently, I have been busy with the formalities of leaving school, packing up my luggage and bringing my parents and elder brother's family to visit. Before going back to Vietnam, we had to go to hangzhou. It was very hot, but the scenery was beautiful. I have too much luggage. I have bought a lot of books these years. My parents helped me to bring some back home.
When I graduated from high school, I planned to study abroad. My parents feel that China is closer and the diploma is valuable, which is more advantageous than the local Vietnamese. In 2006, through intermediary, I went through the process of studying in wuhan university.
Remember when initially to wuhan, take a train from Hanoi, two genius to wuhan, the intermediary irresponsible, not to meet us, thanks to meet with Vietnam to tour, to school.
Study after a year, I always feel wuhan people speak mandarin is not standard, and then see a lot of teaching material is published by Beijing language and culture university, it should be more authoritative, so, in 2007, I went to Beijing to go to school. After finishing my undergraduate study, I applied for a scholarship and went on to study for my master's degree.
At first, my family wanted me to study economics and trade, but when I came to China, I secretly changed my application. I think I can do business in any major, but teaching method and theory can't be taught by myself.
Now in Beijing, the job is to do game translation. China's online gaming companies are flourishing, and some Vietnamese graduates are responsible for translating Chinese into Vietnamese and marketing. But my friend said that the work was not technical at all, and it was not necessary to learn anything else with the game.
I looked for a job with my classmates and teachers, but it didn't go well. As a foreign teacher in China, it is also necessary to rely on hard relations. I also sent my resume on zhilian online, but many jobs require at least three years of working experience and visa issues. Some foreign friends apply for visas through "special channels", but that is very uninsurable.
I come from an ordinary Vietnamese family. My father is a worker in a national power plant. My mother is a teacher and my brother is an architect. As we all know, Vietnamese is a small language and it is not easy to find a job. My compatriots have almost returned to China. To work at the embassy? It's harder, it's harder.
In Beijing, many students, teachers and friends have established a lot of good relations. After returning home, I can teach Chinese in college or college. I can teach in Chinese, but I can use what I have learned.
Graduation is a new beginning, but I'm not saying that I'm not coming back. I'll probably come back for a new job.
Bai yongsheng: the best youth in China.
(28, male, from Afghanistan. Graduated from Beijing language and culture university international politics major, graduate student in 2014
One of the children, from a family with good family conditions, at least is satisfied with life. He loved his parents and countless toys, but at the age of six, they suddenly disappeared. One day, while he was painting at home, he heard the sound of a cannon ball. The streets were filled with soldiers, tanks and scattered people. He heard bullets, bombs and cries. On this very day, a gust of wind blew away his happy childhood, the wind was too strong, and he and his family went to a foreign country. The cruel wind was called "war".
Children and family arrive in a strange environment - Pakistan, no home, no necessities. In Afghanistan, his father was a writer, his mother a teacher, but in a foreign country, his parents had no work, no food and no warmth. Roof leak that night when the rain, the child's mother gave birth to a serious illness, need a lot of money to do surgery, father also have to take care of my mother can't work, children can't go to school, he often a person quietly looking at others go to school, after school, eager to also can have the precious opportunity. After a few years, the family condition is getting better, mother is a teacher again, he can go to school again. Such a rare opportunity is of course precious, so the child works hard every day, and in eight years, he completed the course that the average student needs to complete in 12 years. The country has also stabilized. After graduating from high school, he won a scholarship to study abroad and came to China. The Chinese teacher gave him a Chinese name, bai yongsheng. That kid is me.
My father used to be a soldier. He later studied Persian history and published many books. He was very interested in Chinese history and encouraged me to study in China. In 2006, I went to zhongnan university of economics and law. After a year of preparatory study, I transferred to the university. At the beginning of learning Chinese, it was really difficult to learn Chinese, and there were a lot of jokes: one day, the Chinese teacher invited us to have dinner at her home. As soon as we started eating, the teacher told me to eat slowly. I didn't learn to eat slowly at that time. I thought the teacher thought I was eating too fast and should eat less... I feel ashamed, sad, I really don't want to continue eating. But then I learned to eat slowly, only to know that I misunderstood what the teacher meant.
Since I didn't understand Chinese, I have been able to communicate with Chinese friends freely. I have paid much more time to study than Chinese students.
After graduation, my classmates who came to China with me also went back to China, but I didn't want to leave. From 20 to 30 years old, my best youth is spent in China, there are beautiful memories here, also deeply affected me. So I applied everywhere and finally got accepted by Beijing language and culture university.
In 2011, I went to Beijing language and culture university to study, and when I graduated, I began to work as an intern in the Afghan embassy in China. I was eventually hired by the Afghan embassy. According to the diplomatic staff, working in the embassy means that I have to stay here for three years.
Ali: all my luggage is left in Beijing.
(ali abba, 24, from Niger. I graduated in January 2014 and returned to China after graduation.
With the development of the economic exchanges between China and Niger, at the same time, as a pursuit of new knowledge, I will start from high school second grade is very interested in China, so decided to come to China to attend college, but the primary reason why I come to China is mainly to participate in our country and China's economic activities, learning Chinese is beneficial to both sides of a long-term cooperation.
After get Chinese government scholarship in 2009, I am the first to go to a year of Beijing language and culture university preparatory courses, in September 2010 formally entered the Beijing language and culture university Chinese college, read the Chinese language and direction of economic and trade professional undergraduate degree. During the study, everything went well and the harvest was great.
There are a lot of differences between Niger and China, first geographically, one in Africa, the other in Asia, and the difference is very clear. When I came to China, it was easy for me to adapt, because there were old classmates from my country. But I have encountered many funny and sad things in my daily life. In the end, it is important to learn the local language well, understand the local culture, and let the other person know about themselves so that they can live a good life.
When I graduated, my luggage almost stayed in Beijing, because I didn't want to leave. So now I have a chance to stay, I think it's a very happy thing. Besides, I graduated from China, and I plan to give myself a good foundation, so I would like to live here for a period of time, work and experience. In addition to my personal choice, my parents have always supported me to go this way, constantly encouraging me and giving me a lot of help.
We often say the old saying, "learning a new language is the beginning of a new life." Therefore, I learned in China that I started a new life, and as I grew older, I followed suit. So, over the years, I have come to belong to the Chinese people, to hide their foreign identity. Of course, no matter where you go, you should not forget who you are, so I always contact my family.
I work in an office now. In 2011, our government and CNPC jointly established a refinery co., LTD. The company's headquarters is in Niger, and I returned to Niger last winter, just when the company needed to send someone to China as a representative. Because I had lived in China for four years and knew about China, so they hired me and sent me to Beijing. Now I have been working for more than two months. I am the financial assistant here. Although there are few things to do in the office, I am thankful to be able to get a job without any experience at graduation.
Aidan: ready to work in China all the time.
(33 years old, from Israel, Beijing language and culture university Chinese education, bachelor degree, according to oral arrangement)
I have been in China for eight years. I just graduated this year. Now I have found a temporary job in the Israeli embassy in China. I am responsible for the management and content distribution of WeChat account.
I originally intended to travel to China, so as to make it easier to travel, I began to learn Chinese. In the past eight years, I have worked and attended school. I have been studying in tsinghua university for three semesters, which is a language training. I went to Beijing language and culture university four years ago and studied Chinese education.
Although I first came to China is the purpose of tourism, but in fact places over the years is not much, only now went to Shanghai, Harbin and other places, listen to the students in western China is very different from Beijing and Shanghai, I'm looking for opportunities to take a look at there.
This year, I joined Beijing language and culture university as an outstanding graduate. Perhaps because I have been studying for a long time, the language foundation is better than other students. In addition, I feel I know a lot about Chinese culture and history.
In school, I also made a mobile APP, called foodragon, to introduce Chinese food to foreigners, and select ingredients and cooking methods according to personal taste to recommend dishes to users. This software is my idea, co-produced by other students. After the introduction of the software, many of the students have downloaded it, and the evaluation is very good. Unfortunately, the download has not been high, because it can only recommend dishes, can not recommend restaurants. I want to make something like dianping.com for foreigners, but I can't help it. I can't compare myself to a company.
Eight years, I have adapted to the school life. Originally very busy, suddenly graduated, feeling relaxed. Because I like studying very much, I don't study to go to work now, it is a little strange.
Don't know what to do now, work in the embassy is temporary, if you can find a suitable job is ready to have been working in China, but parents also delighted when I return home, it makes me a little difficult. The international herald Tribune reporter Lou Chen hao.
