In recent years, due to the global economic downturn and industrial upgrading, many countries face the problem of youth employment. A number of countries have issued strong policies, such as encouraging self-employment, expanding employment channels and promoting fair employment, hoping to better solve the problem of employment. Foreign correspondent interviews with local government agencies, social groups and individuals in order to explore useful policy experience and provide reference for solving employment problems.

In Bangkok, Thailand "terminal" 21 city, the area around the business district of a pastry shop, shopping center, a 28-year-old Thai guy check, talk with pat is seriously hot small cake one by one on the shelf. This packaging exquisite shop only 39 square metre, but because of its good location, store business good, net income up to 400000 per month to 400000 baht (about 80000 yuan to 100000 yuan RMB), and university graduates in Thailand monthly minimum wage was only about 15000 baht (about 3000 yuan).

I am a professor of marketing major in the university of yimiku, Thailand. I have a bachelor degree. When he graduated, he opened the cake shop with some of his parents' money and a part-time job at his university, and now has two stores in Bangkok.

According to talk with pat, like young people choose their own businesses every year the number of college graduates accounted for about 20%, and most people choose to enter big enterprise engaged in technology or management class work, there are those who work in the education research. In order to encourage graduates to start their own businesses, the Thai government has introduced a number of preferential policies, including the granting of loans to entrepreneurs.

On the road to self-employment, Mr Pippa thinks he is lucky. "Working for yourself and making long-term plans for your future can be a better development," he said. I wouldn't go if a big company had a monthly salary of 100,000 baht."

In fact, in Asia, Thailand's unemployment rate is very low. According to the world bank's website, the unemployment rate in the Philippines and Indonesia was 7% in 2011 and 6% in Indonesia, 4% in China and 2.9% in Singapore, compared with 0.7% in Thailand. The reason is that Thailand's mature tourism industry has provided a lot of jobs for graduates. In addition, the government departments of various districts in Bangkok will hold some job fairs from time to time, and many good large enterprises will participate in recruitment to meet the demand of job seekers.
